Always boggled me that people think Ash shouldn't be cool and get mad at you for thinking he should be cool or that your favorite moments is when Ash is cool.

He's the main character of a monster catching franchise, he not only is, but he always SHOULD be cool to watch.

Those negs about me "Trying to make Ash look badass" always hit weird when Ash's very first episode had him standing up to a flock of murderous Spearow, in the middle of a thunderstorm, ready to face his death for a Pokémon he just met.

Ash has literally never not been awesome to me.
