Covers from the It's Her Story graphic novels for emerging readers that focus on famous women. Pictured: Rosa Parks, Marie Curie, Josephine Baker, Dolly Parton, Shirley Chisholm, Ida B. Wells, Amelia Earhart, and Irene Sendler.
I wrote a graphic novel about Amelia Earhart that's part of an amazing series of GNs for emerging readers. They're well-suited for kids like her. Ooh, and they're on sale right now. phoenixinternational.com/product-cate...
This is amazing. I wrote a graphic novel about Amelia Earhart for emerging readers that includes several feminist Easter eggs. I hope the adults pick up on them even if the kids don't. (Happy to send you a free copy on request.)

Thanks for an informative convo. It's almost like old times π¦. Have a good weekend everyone!
Ah, yes, you said that. I didn't know they made SS.
Yes, but so heavy.
Oh, I'll have to look. Thanks!
Pre-rinsing dishes is also a hard habit to break.
This is a toxic inherited outlook that I need to learn to break!
We just got a new dishwasher, so it sounds like we really need to lean into using it for most things.
Thanks for this!
Wendi Aarons, but she already wrote the book. www.simonandschuster.com/books/Im-Wea...
I feel this so much.
Seeing this on its own, it's hard to tell if you're referring to climate, Covid, or out our country.
Sigh. Thanks for the info.
My kids (then 10 and 12) flipped out when I showed them a circa 1940s typewriter and saw it had a # key. Like, how did those old-tomey people know about hashtags?! Lol
