You were the first person I thought of when I heard about the Books section getting cut. I’m so sorry. Believe me, I know how few venues there are out there who pay for book reviews.
So my friend Terence and I saw @joshgondelman.bsky.social last Thursday conducting the Q&A for #Taskmaster Live at Town Hall. Tonight we saw him hosting the #WaitWait Comedy Grab Bag. Wondering how many other people also #DoubleGondeled. (He was Double Great!)
Yeah, this sucks. It’s true I hate trying to read the menu in the dark and sign a check in the dark, but I’d rather that than all those bright phone screens everyone else has.
Yay! I like their hibiscus and also their Mexican chocolate—I’m a fan of strong flavors. I wish they’d bring back the doughnutaschen for Purim! (Also, their sister brand, La Newyorkina paletas, is amazing. I have horchata mini paletas in my freezer now.)

I don’t know the song at all, but it’s obvious how to parse that lyric. Where was the copy editor to explain the difference between like the verb and like the preposition? Were they overruled?
