The Tech industry needs many things, 'masculine energyβ is so far off the list itβs not even visible.
Scent is absolutely the most powerful memory trigger for me. It pulls me back to a moment in time the way nothing else can. Sometimes it's a blessing, other times it breaks me in a way nothing else can
That moment when you realise it's over 50 years since you left school... What causes it? A TV programme where @lucyworsley.bsky.social visiting what was your school and is now a museum. Not quite sure how to feel about it, though the TV programme was excellent

1/2 It's a while since I have read a book that touches on such a wide range of current themes in a coherent whole, and is still a good read without being 'preachy'.
Probably A Half-Built Garden by Ruthanna Emrys and a Book Club re-read of Christopher Priest's A Dream of Wessex. Both thought provoking, particularly the former.
I 'may' have read a fair number of books this year...
Depriving our young ones of the opportunities offered by Erasmus was one of the most wicked, heartless and shortsighted evils done by the Brexit supporters.
Taking small pleasures when it's so horrid out there... Crumpets with #Marmite Peanut Butter - stay safe people
Wise words
Good to see you here
