But it is a wider problem. The US Government is hijacking data and controlling and amending the flow of information on jobs receipts expenditure et al. When the Markets feel the information is not relevant the borrowing costs will climb and become unsustainable. Then there is a BIG problem.

First the blocking of the Straits was predictable and secondly it is obvious that the Iran actions are dissuasive to shipping. Throwing money at Emergency Insurance won’t persuade sailors to risk their lives so what will Hegseth do? Will he take the ships through personally?? Would be interesting.
