Major fail on #yycbike pathways through Inglewood and past the rail yard. Zero attempt at clearing today but at least two passes of equipment not doing a damn thing (based on tracks in the snow). Also, steep hill up to Shaganappi (red) bridge not cleared so went to Edworthy and up cleared road.

Won’t bother with #yycbike pathway conditions as crews are out and will eventually get to the unplowed sections. What inspired me most this morning was the number of cyclists out before me! I left at 7am and every section of pathway I ride had multiple sets of bike tracks in the snow!
I love that they dispatch plows that drive down the pathway, it plowing, to go were they are assigned to plow 🙃. Flowed tracks from 17th, through Inglewood, past the sanctuary and rail yard before they started near Ogden Road.
Something good. Got a call from Jeremy at the Calgary Airport - one of the bikes we had stolen last fall was found abandoned there. Bike is missing accessories and needs some tlc on the chain but seems to be intact.
