Then afterwards she SITS IN HER CAR and waits for me to leave....like???? Also just to note the only signs for towing in that parking lot say "towing enforced" and that's it.....I'm so over this city...
Like i can't explain it any other way than as if she were excited to tell me she'd call the cops on me. My car was parked in that spot for no more than 30 minutes. I was in and out of my appointment so fast too.
Before i can even say anything she cuts me off and goes "you're parked here illegally. You can't park here you can be towed or we'll call the cops on you." but she says that last part like a threat and almost excited??
i roll my window down bc i'm thinking something's wrong with my car or something that i can't see bc i'm inside my car. When she says "why are you parked here what are you doing here? Are you going to any of the businesses here?" and motions to the strip where the restaurant is.
left my appointment at my dentist's office, which isn't even a 30-second walk from where i was parked. Sat in my car for not even 2 minutes while i decided what i wanted off the menu from the restaurant and if i wanted to go in or order ahead when she waves me down.
It's been a few days and i've been able to somewhat calm down from it. But a random yt woman threatened to call the cops on me in atx because i was "parked illegally" while i sat in my car and decided what to get from one of the restaurants in that shared parking lot...gotta love this city...

I’m torn. I’m really sad that I dropped my classes this semester but I truly can’t juggle grief, work, and assignments. It’s impossible for me atm. I didn’t think grief would still be kicking my ass like this but I haven’t been the same with school since my MIL passed.
