Sometimes it’s really funny when people make a typo but still spell a word. Like when characters just need “ten minuets” to do something. Today I saw Tseng described as Aerith’s “closet companion”. 😂

Discovered that I (still?) have a clerith berserk button. You know, when a single sentence can disrupt your zen and piss you off?
In fairness, I also have berserk buttons for lying and deliberately failing comprehension, and clerith sits smack on top of both.
Saturday Biggles, our 16 year old (birthday was Monday) cavalier spaniel had a stroke. At least that’s the verdict from the neurologist she saw today. 😭
On the positive side, she should improve over time back to where she was. And they say she doesn’t seem uncomfortable or distressed.

Anyone have any links on or theories regarding the lore behind summons in #FF7? Were they once living beings? (EC says Bahamut is/was) Local deities? (Implied by Rebirth) Just folklore made manifest through countless memories in the lifestream?
Were the sanctuaries in Rebirth built by the Cetra?

The fact that the actors have all aged or died also necessitated a different direction. The legends books gave us more of the characters we already loved, where the movies had to choose to either recast those characters, or introduce new ones. Why wouldn’t we prefer stories where what they fought
I think it’s because the Thrawn series made a much better follow-up to the original. I don’t feel any ownership; but I read those books when they came out, and the storytelling is just BETTER. I love Rey, but her story isn’t as well plotted. And besides, Mara Jade was also fucking awesome.
