I started with "if the coefficients are only 0 and 1, can I find the order?". Which made me see that p(2) would give you order and coefficients with the binary representation. Immediate extension was that if coefs<b, then p(b) will give you all of them. Then it was all about finding a boundary...

Interestingly, it's not at all a given that he has a gun outside of his sport practice. I doubt professional biathletes like him ever bring the gun(s) home. They're expensive and fragile.

Amusingly I happen to be on exactly that one in my running quest of rereading all discworld. Such a pleasure to reread them from time to time

There has been a great transition in the last 20-40 years where it comes to little things like, oh, the position of women that makes older stuff a little harder to read at times

I've been feeling for a while that the fake problems (singularity ! skynet !) are used to cover up the real ones (jobs lost to incompetent AIs, financial bubble, environmental damage, scaling of bad behaviours...).

Pure curiosity, what do you mean by uncached in that context ?

Current generative AIs are not supposed to be sources by themselves (no more than a human), they're supposed to point you to sources when needed. Of course, they kinda fail at it at this point.
