It was great to join Scarsdale Scout Troop 4 for their Annual Breakfast and celebrate the incredible young people who are part of this troop. Scouting continues to build leaders of character by teaching teamwork, responsibility, and service to others.
Generations of leaders, educators, first responders, and public servants have helped shape the character and strength of our County. This ceremony gave us an opportunity to celebrate that heritage and recognize the traditions that continue to enrich Westchester today.
I was honored to raise the Irish flag this week in recognition of Irish American Heritage Month. Irish Americans played an important role in building the foundation of communities across Westchester.

This effort is about modernization, not expansion. It is about creating a safer, more comfortable and more efficient experience for the people who depend on our airport.
This week, we took an important step forward by selecting HNTB to lead the feasibility study and concept design to modernize the terminal at Westchester County Airport. Anyone who flies out of HPN knows the current facility no longer meets the needs of travelers.
When I ran for County Executive, I promised to focus on improving the quality of life for Westchester residents. That includes making sure the infrastructure people rely on every day actually works for them.

Restaurant Week is also a powerful driver of our tourism economy. In 2025, Westchester saw $2.4 billion in visitor spending, including $876 million in food and beverage sales, a 12 percent increase year over year.
From March 2 through March 15, more than 50 participating restaurants across 21 towns and cities will offer specially priced menus that showcase the very best of Westchester.
I was proud to help kick off Spring 2026 Hudson Valley Restaurant Week at the Zwilling Cooking Studio in Pleasantville, where chefs, hospitality leaders, and community partners gathered to celebrate the extraordinary talent that defines our dining scene.
