What does "Rechts wird nur gestrickt" mean? Here's some context:
in German we refer to knit/purl as knitting right ("rechts")/knitting left. So this phrase plays on the double meaning of "rechts" (knitting plain and right-wing politics) and loosely translates to "right is only for knitting".

The state of this world is scary and I'm still in shock that Austria is set to get a far-right chancellor. Knitting helps me a lot to calm down and relax. So it only felt natural to make a political statement in form of this jumper. I will explain the meaning of the phrase below in the comments.

Thank you! Luckily I did some testing first. I didn't like the outcome of using my real fabric scissors and knitting needles, so I made my own carton stencil to achieve the result I wanted.

My private account is fine but the account for my small business got suspended for "bulk following" after hitting the "follow all" button of a sewing related starter pack 🤷🏼‍♀️.

I made myself a comfy "work dress", heavily inspired by the #naniiroworkshirt. It gives off some nightgown vibes, that's why I like to wear it with my hacked #spkeatonvest. Still have to figure out how I'm going to share more details about my makes with a character limit of 300 😬. #sewing

Haha, I quit FB a couple of years ago but had to rejoin for a course last year... I was completely and utterly lost 😂. It's insane how much changed in 9 years. I'm glad the course is over and I don't have to use it anymore. But yeah, I'm also having a hard time of leaving Instagram.
