Sounds great. The valve preamp is based on a Hiwatt, so lovely high end chimes with a solid bass to it. Interestingly whilst tinkering I realised the main ingredient that gives the Hiwatt it's unique tone; an unusual choice of cathode follower, stops it getting muddy.

My issue with them has always been that they should be called the Soul Brothers or R'n'B brothers, as they don't particularly play much blues but certainly play the former predominantly.
Just my own pedantry that has niggled for about 40 years otherwise all good (as anything with Cropper and Dunn)

The current Labour Party's continual demonisation of disabled people is utterly infuriating. They have proved themselves to be even less compassionate than the Tories.

This was the first episode I listened to back in January, driving home from my mother's funeral. It was an excellent distraction. Got me hooked. I've since listened to them all and am now making my way through the patreon episodes. Keep up the great work.

Interestingly Keir Starmer has totally surpassed any predicted horrible shitness by launching a full on attack on disabled people. He has out-Toried even the Tories in that respect. I have never felt more betrayed. At least Thatcher told you what she was going to do.
