Every interview I've ever read or seen with him, he comes across as such a total dick. And smug with it. A really bad combination.

I live in Otley!
I might be able to make it!!!
Be good to see you guys. ๐ค
Joe. (I hope it's something I like! ๐ฌ)
Colour me intrigued! ๐ค
Sounds great. The valve preamp is based on a Hiwatt, so lovely high end chimes with a solid bass to it. Interestingly whilst tinkering I realised the main ingredient that gives the Hiwatt it's unique tone; an unusual choice of cathode follower, stops it getting muddy.
My issue with them has always been that they should be called the Soul Brothers or R'n'B brothers, as they don't particularly play much blues but certainly play the former predominantly.
Just my own pedantry that has niggled for about 40 years otherwise all good (as anything with Cropper and Dunn)
I take it the date was a success!
I was at that Bradford gig. First time seeing Truman's Water too. Excellent gig.
So it goes.
As a 16 year old into punk and goth, this was the most mental record I'd ever heard when my mate Eddie brought it round our house for us to hear.
Tossers!
Who's been bullying you?
Bastards.
The current Labour Party's continual demonisation of disabled people is utterly infuriating. They have proved themselves to be even less compassionate than the Tories.
And don't get me started on their constant pandering to the UKIP brigade.
I'm shocked. Shocked and stunned!
This was the first episode I listened to back in January, driving home from my mother's funeral. It was an excellent distraction. Got me hooked. I've since listened to them all and am now making my way through the patreon episodes. Keep up the great work.
They're still targeting disabled people for some reason.
Interestingly Keir Starmer has totally surpassed any predicted horrible shitness by launching a full on attack on disabled people. He has out-Toried even the Tories in that respect. I have never felt more betrayed. At least Thatcher told you what she was going to do.
I was in a goth band in the late 80's and it took me a while to realise why the violin players dad was so cool; turned out he was Pat Mills. He gave me a Nemesis The Warlock t-shirt. Nice fellow.
I'm having a lot of trouble counting to 18. These two are really rubbing it in. Send help.
*(Soz about the flashing led, camera speed etc (can't see it in real life)).
In previous media he said it's a new build made to look like an oast house. Because that's the sort of person he is.
etc
Fair point, well made.
(As an aside, I'm constantly intrigued by the relationship (or lack of) between Hell and Verlaine post 75)
Did The Strokes base their entire career on American Girl by Tom Petty?
Asking for a friend.
Watched some of the Live Aid programme on iPlayer last night and, while the pictures of the famine were shocking, at least no-one was shot while they were trying to get some food.
Were you the only person there that got the reference? ๐ค
What a chuckle, thanks for the mention! ๐ค
What's going on here then? I'm intrigued! ๐ง
First time in 25 years I've attempted bowling, and Tom House of Sweet Williams fame caught this on camera!
Excellent work. ๐ค
On Friday and Saturday I shall be prancing about using this piece of wood in Derby and Bristol. Come and point and laugh if you like that sort of thing.
It's all a bit embarrassing really, I should know better.๐
etc
๐ค
Ta very much, I shall observe into it.
Is your 500 etc podcast available on Tidal? Thinking of it, this could swing it.
