Girl, you must be called Faile the way you make Perringrin.
#WoTShowSpoilers #s3e3 oh man, the way they edged us with the Trakands on Mat fight. I was about to be pissed.
#WoTShowSpoilers #s3e3 INTRO!! Skip intro, Amazon? Skip intro?! I think not!
It was back on immediately hahaha, but just long enough to have my modem have to restart and miss the very end. Oh well, will be taking Friday off from work I think, episode slapped.
I just stepped out to walk Avi (my first time outside today), and uhhhhh yah, super windy, the traffic lights are out in my town center. At least it's like weather related and not a random oopsie blip haha. Somebody found the bowl of the winds I think lol.
ahhhhhhh, I just lost power right at what I think was the end of the episode. ughhhhh. Are you kidding me?!!
Ceara Coveney, though. She's unbelievable.
Hah, when Daniel just slapped that gnat outta the air and said, "Warder" but they were talking about that water scene at the Waygate and I thought he was doing that weird American accent where water is produced "warter."
I turned on hardware graphics acceleration in my chrome browser and it's wat better now lol.
So I was googling and folks said to turn off graphics acceleration in Chrome. Okay, cool. So I go to turn it off. It's already off. Okay, so I turn it on. Problem is way better now lol.
Yeah, I could cast from my surface to my TV but I've been switching between devices to get the best view. The video is clear, not pixilated, audio is fine, but the playback is choppy/framey.
Anyone else watching the Wheel of Time fan event and the video stream is super super choppy? I'm hardwired in, other streaming services work fine. Guess maybe a sign that there're a ton of people watching?
In the Stephen King universe, the low men are reverse furries.
A meme in the modern format with white space providing context at the top, the text reads, "I found leaked footage of Finli and other low men from the level of the Tower where the new adaptation is already released." The image is a still from the film, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" It is the group of anthropomorphic weasels wearing gangster outfits and hats, including shirts, ties, and lit cigarettes. The front weasel is in a tan suit and hat with red tie, and a revolver while the group is walking through an office. The caption reads, "Stop that laughin', I beg. Stop that laughin' or ya gonna die laughin', do ya kennit?"
Nearly done with my Dark Tower re-read. Other people put together complex and thoughtful analysis when they read, I meme. Super mild spoiler for books 5 and 7.
No sweat, your description of it sounded fascinating so I wanted to see it. It was easy to miss though. In search the video wasn't there, I had to click through to see it.
I think this is what you just posted about. I found it by searching your posts for "watching".
Sure am! βΊοΈ
So. Haven't been around these parts much these days but uhhhh Season 3 sneak peek, yah? That was wild.
Punch Brothers' cover of Another New World by Josh Ritter.
A photo of the store front of a CVS from the parking lot. The sign is made up of backlit red letters spelling "CVS/pharmacy", however the light has gone out on the letter "r" so in the twilight it looks like "CVS/phamacy."
Posted on another app one year ago today. I like when Massachusetts stores have lights out on the sign that make it sound like a Massachusetts store.
Oh shiiiiiiiit, hey man!
Good news is you can play the Wheel of Time game on Steam Deck if you use Heroic Games Launcher and link your GOG account. Bad news, unless someone is more tech savvy than myself and knows a workaround, you've gotta play it with a keyboard and mouse
Hmmmm, I don't recognize ya, fren! Your cover photo is Tress which makes me think Cosmere/WoT fandom but your chosen moniker for me isn't used in those circles haha.
An Elden Ring character creation screen , including multiple text fields, not detailed here due to relevance but the Name is Sai Callahan, with a Confessor origin. At the right side of the image is a bust of my created character who resembles Father Callahan of The Dark Tower/Salem's Lot, an older white man with a shock of white hair, white eyebrows and icy blue eyes.
Been doing a Dark Tower reread, and recently got a Steam Deck so going through Elden Ring. Looking forward to this runthrough, didn't get very far my first time. But say hello to Sai Callahan, Confessor, may it do ya fine and may we meet again at the clearing at the end of the path.
Nice, can definitely see that.
A photo which is a still from the show Ozark. Lisa Emery is on the left playing Darlene Sbell, wearing a grayish sweater with shoulder length dirty blonde hair. The character on the right is Jacob Snell wearing a cowboy hat and blue flannel shirt but I've pasted Sam Elliott's face with signature white mustache and shoulder length white hair. They are backseat by trees, a road and grass.
Picked my reread of Wizard and Glass back up. I know the Sam Elliott as Jonas thing is probably as old a fancasting as it gets but I had a thought for an additional fancasting, Sam as Jonas and Lisa Emery as Coral Thorin. Bonus casting: Kate Dickie of GoT and The Vvitch as Cordelia Delgado.
I won't post Wind and Truth spoilers here but suffice it to say, I'm pissed I have to stop reading and get to work this morning. I'm so happy to be embarking on a new adventure in Roshar after so many years.
Why did I pick up Wizard and Glass again yesterday? I put it down earlier this year to start Stormlight reread. I knew I wouldn't have nearly enough time to finish it before tomorrow and it's getting so good, I don't wanna put it down again. But I will, Wind and Truth can't wait.
It absolutely is! Some of the replies to this thread show this type of illumination is sorely needed haha. It's pretty accessible to non-philosphers as well. I've started to self-study logic/philrel and I think this book can serve as a great springboard into further study in this area.
