Hello! Does anyone know of any resources on sound in folklore and fairy tales? E.g. here in Sweden there is Näcken, a water spirit that plays an instrument and I would especially be interested if there are explanations or guesses of what occurrences in nature these sounds could be attributed to.

The solar wind recorded by the Parker Solar probe interpreted as sound waves. Pretty terrifying, ... and neat.

I was also thinking that small items could randomly switch positions, as in you remember you put it in on the right side but walking is shifting it around. As an upgrade you can find backpacks that can be opened in the front.
For authenticity the bottom items should be greyed out and only be visible once one has cleared the items above. You can rummage around blindly but there is only a 50% chance that the item is the actual item (as in it felt like this but it's actually that). Small items slide down to the bottom.

And a quick update on the IR capture. Here I'm using it on a few samples (soda can, metal boing, ice cracks). It alternates between the hut IR and a "pure" forest IR I captured close by some other time. Ideally use good speakers/headphones. 1drv.ms/u/s!Ai_LsJBV...
Back home after a brief visit to Vienna (and surroundings). So great to meet family, friends, hang out with fellow devs and eat some very delicious food. I miss it all already. Also, those clouds definitely look nicer from above than below.

The focus was an ok price/weight ratio. It's good but not comfortable enough to just bring it along on hikes. One thing I overlooked was that the membranes are exposed so I needed to fashion a cover - alternatively an 8020 would be lighter and have grills over the membranes but at 4x the price. 2/2
