For the almost 40 years I've been watching politics Republicans have repeatedly and shamelessly told blatant lies, and the press never called them out on it. Until recently, neither did the Dems, which always puzzled me. It's time to call a lie a lie, and a liar a liar, and call it out every time.
Summing up Iran news today, I think.
- US/Israel strikes continue
- Iran doesn't want talks, still firing on neighbors
- US asked Israel to stop hitting Iranian energy infra
- US claimed to be escorting tankers
- oops no it isn't
- Mines in the water
- ~80-90% of Iran mine laying capacity intact
Trump also lamented the “dead people walking around with no legs and no arms,” so I’m taking “Trump says” with a dump truck-sized grain of salt.
Ukraine is actively protecting our troops and Russia is actively helping Iran target them.
But every single time he's tested, Trump sides with Putin. It's the most consistent he is on any topic. No matter what they do, Trump is on Team-Russia.
At this point it really doesn't matter why.
