So. Monster Hunter Rise is free on PSN and I have NOT played a Monster Hunter game since the 3DS ones. So, perfect time to. Especially since I'm too cheap for Wilds at the moment.
Are Mizutsunes in the game? Those are my favorite monsters.
Someone who agrees. It also felt like game like "Let' Go, Sword and Shield", and Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl" were meant for the 3DS at the time, but the Switch changed their plans. If that were the case, it explains quite a lot.
But now, we got a look at Gen 10. Done right, this could put them on the map for a high spec game in 2027. They have the time to polish it more and there are things I hope they will do. But we are forced to wait and see.
Now, the main issue is at the time, most of these games were $25 to $35 at the time. But game with $60 price tags should be at $60 quality. Which hasn't really been the case. Compared to Mario Odyssey, Uncharted 4, or other titles, they have hit the times yet. Even with Legends.
You know, playing Pokémon Moon, I think Pokémon didn't have a bad transition to 3D, but a bad transition out of handheld to main console.
All the mainline games to a point were handheld. Which is why a lot of the games still feel like that. It also doesn't help that the Switch can be undocked.
I remember when the voice actors for the Mario Movie were first revealed, it was meme to hell and back. Does that mean we are about to have Yoshi singing "This is America" from someone? XD

I heard that PS5 is planning on holding a lot of their exclusives again and not put them on Steam. Honestly, with the Steam Machine and eventual Xbox/PC hybrid, makes sense.
After the State Of Play, I expect them to have hold a lot of those to themselves.

Even as Skulldragons, Glowie is still fun for the Chu Twins to tease. She has such a big tail and still quite the boopable snoot.
Seeing this, no one can convince me that the graphics were "fine" in Scarlet and Violet. I am 90% sure even with the under power Switch 1, we could still get graphics like this in the new titles.
At that point, some fans were because we had the first 3 gens get remakes. But the progression and transitioning between Nintendo systems, it just didn't work.

I do see the charm in this game. And honestly, the Pokémon in this game look more lively than any of the games put together.
This.... makes this the highest-rated Pokémon game ever....
I.... think this is what happens when you let other companies besides Pokémon and Gamefreak take the lead.
