I've written a check before but only a couple of times back in the mid 2000s or so. Its nice its still an option for transferring funds from one person to another but its often easier to do it digitally. Same with sending letters vs. e-mail.

So yeah that's all I have to say about this fucking chaos going down my my Bluesky timeline right now. I don't feel like unfollowing anyone based on what's going down just yet but I do think people need to be smarter about trying to understand what others are saying before starting shit.

Can't say I appreciate seeing some of my friends being called pedophiles and other gross shit like that because they simply think fictional depictions in art shouldn't be treated with the gravity of real abuse. Its 2026 there's plenty of real actual kid diddlers you could focus you energy on.
As a queer person I do fully agree I do not want to have me just expressing myself equated with any form of sexual abuse. That noted since people are discussing the censorship of fictional depictions within artwork and not real actions I don't believe anyone is intending to make those comparisons.
Wish people could not speak past each other on my TL so I wouldn't be stuck between multiple groups of people I like that are at each other's throats.

Its kinda like Animal Crossing mixed with Dragon Quest Builders I guess? You play as a Ditto that's trying to restore a place a Pokemon show up and you try to make them comfortable and happy. You can then use their Pokemon powers to further help you build and alter the environment.
