folks piling on itch makes me so sad! itch is so good. when folks on social media are mad at their version of you, you want to fix it so bad, but you canโt. they donโt want to hear how they might have it wrong, and they donโt want to know who you are. they *want* to be mad. say nothing, and wait? ๐
It's been so disheartening to see, I read through their replies two days ago and they're trying to calmly correct people's assumptions but it doesn't appear to be working. Itch absolutely don't deserve this and this in-fighting only serves to empower those that wanted to hurt LGBTQ creators.

I can understand that feeling and I did have to look up something once in this game near the end, but i also think mystery games like this always going to have some frustration by the need to create mystery.
It does better than most in its category IMO (Tunic, Obra Dinn, etc)

After finding no habit tracking apps that I like or were reasonably priced and getting extremely mad at one that was horribly exploitative, I angrily scribbled out a design for my own that I had already started work on in Gleam a while back. I really like it.
I made Powder Toy in VRChat! It supports several kinds of liquids and solids, including chemical reactions between them. It's done entirely with fragment shaders and cameras, so I can put it on my avatar.
The thing that most resonates with me about rewatching Twin Peaks S1+2 more than anything else, it's a vision of america thats weird, charming and kind.
The way people just roll with eccentricity and the way Dale Cooper sees the world with such earnest appreciation is inspiring, honestly.
