A man in Bourbon County asked me this last night.

The why is simple: they don’t want to. They don’t want to do their jobs. They want to keep the rich friends & donors rich. Vote them all out.

These are our neighbors. Our friends. Our brothers, sisters, parents, cousins. This is not a “small price” to pay. This is devastating. Death and injury are not required. This was a choice. Remember this when you go to the polls.

Donald Trump is coming to Northern Kentucky today. There are also tornado warnings in Northern Kentucky today. Coincidence? I think not.

Heartbreaking. Horrifying. Sadly expected of this capricious and ill-planned war of choice.

To all of the many innocents injured and lost in this conflict, we salute and honor you. We will fight so your memory is honored in the highest. And we will hold those fuckers accountable.

This is Sgt. Benjamin Pennington. 26 year old Kentuckian killed in this war of choice with Iran. His ultimate sacrifice should be honored to the highest. But his loss of life was not necessary.

Guess Sgt. Pennington is just another “small price to pay.”

I suppose the lives of American service members and innocent civilians across the region is also a “small price to pay” when you’re being personally enriched by the whole affair.
