character sheet of my splatoon OC, whiffy the squiffy, for fourleafisland's brush week challenge. she is a gijinka of the classic squiffer. this version of whiffy is based on the clean brush, and draws inspiration from soap, rubber duckies, and water. whiffy is drawn in a white dress that has a wave pattern and rubber ducky at the bottom of the dress. a blue cropped jacket is layered on top. she is wearing various accessories, including: a white choker with a blue bubble, white gloves, a bubble earring on the left ear, and a soap bar hairclip. the squiffer is recolored to have a pastel blue, pink, and yellow palette, with the cleaning bottle decal featuring a rubber ducky. underneath the squiffer, is director's commentary from dolphin, whiffy's creator, who made the clean!whiffy design in universe. it reads as follows: "When we designed the Squiffer Twins a year ago, we did not anticipate Whiffy the Squiffy to resonate with so many people. Within the first month of her debut, we received thousands of fanworks on Squitter. Thank you all for the support! To celebrate Whiffy's birthday, we're hosting a design contest. We want to see what outfits YOU would like to see Whiffy in. An example design can be seen on the right. When posting your entries online, use the tag #SquiffyBirthday, and don't forget to tag us! We are eagerly looking forward to seeing your redesigns, and we will reshare any fanwork we receive on our socials." The commentary is then followed up with a disclaimer written in italics, including a URL to a fictional website.

art is something i usually enjoy but its been stressing me out somewhat lately. i've hit another wall. i nearly burnt out. there's a few reasons.

but it'll pass. the idea of quitting entirely because of a rough patch doesn't sit right with me.
