I think the Gulfstream aircraft is going through the process of certification in Canada. As far as I'm aware there is no refusal to certify it.

Do I have a solution? No. Other than do your best to support the rpoducts that you like. My dilemma is that I like too many of them and don't have the funds to support them all.
We, as consumers, are the ultimate victim. We lose out on choice. We lose out on the opportunity to have new, better tasting whiskies to purchase. Ultimately the big boys will still be there selling what they've always sold and killing off the challengers that could teach them how to do it better.
In the meantime total production will fall, followed by demand again overtaking production and once again we will be back in that vicious circle. This is a pattern that has been repeated constantly through the ages, and at each step the number of distilleries and owners fell significantly.
