Brown and black dogs in front of of door with patchwork of boardgame punch sheets filling in the large hole they made.
White door with the top layer shredded away up to the door knob.
Worked on a collaborative art project with my dogs. They were inspired by fireworks to do some carving. I used my punched boardgame sheets to give it some color. #dogs #boardgame #art

Iβm picky. No full co-op, trick taking or bidding/bluffing. Not going to be whiney about it, but I havenβt found many I enjoy w/those mechanics. Luckily I have a large group of people I game with & itβs easy for us to break into smaller groups to play things we all enjoy.
I had to do an interesting fact at a training yesterday. I said I own a lot of boardgames and just got crickets. At least my team knows. I teach them games all the time.
Makes me feel like theyβre human. I appreciate when the video is edited to display the correct rule.
spot on.
oooh pretty!
Favorite play of the month?
Played Dominations today, which is an interesting game I donβt hear much about. Itβs only 15 turns but they are meaty. I love matching up the gems on the triangular dominoβs to gain the resources (knowledge) that you use to build cities and build up your civilization.
oooh magnets!
Thereβs nothing quite so sweet as a sleeping doggy. Itβs hard not to go over and smoosh their sweet faces. #dogs
At the beginning of 2023 I started a 10 X 10 with my husband. The idea is to do it within a year, but it took us 2 years and 8 months. We finished last night and ended in a tie.
The blanks are the same color as the meeple to the right of them.
61 days until PolyomiNovember!
August plays came in ahead of July. 2/3 of plays were on BGA. #boardgames
Love this game but Iβm really bad at it!
not even he knows
Todayβs game is Windmill Valley. The only reason I donβt own it is because my friend owns it. Love the gear mechanism on this one! #boardgames
Itβs a fun puzzle!
Itβs a cute one. Iβve played it a few times now.
Todayβs choices for Girls Game Night Meetup. I like choices. #boardgames
I was secretly hoping my friends would pick Arnak since itβs been awhile, but they chose Kutna Hora.
Itβs a fun one, but can be tough for people prone to analysis paralysis. I learned it at our local con last year and had to pick up a copy.
I hope Iβm a decent teacher. We played Kutna Hora.
Choices for game night tonight. Which would you most want to play?

All boardgames are an expensive business. We all have a tendency to trick out our favorite games, or spend way too much on an out of print game.
I havenβt played either of those games, but we didnβt wheel and deal much. I liked it, but not enough to want my own copy.
