At our AGM we celebrated with our President and Fool, John Strait, by presenting him with an engraved rose bowl to thank him for his 50 years with Jockey.

Our Squire Pete and our Brilliant dancer/musician Fraser were at Peterborough Day of Dance yesterday, and performed with a scratch side with friends from other sides.
Thanks go to Peterborough Morris for another excellent day.
Sunday at Bromyard got a little damp in the afternoon before dancing had to be abandoned.
We tried to shelter, but the gazebo couldn't hold off the rain as we watched Gidderskins having a paddle at the Rose and Lion...
Congratulations to our Alfie who was presented with his baldrick today and danced out for the first time in his full kit!!
Unfortunately we were originally given the wrong date for this year's festival and by the time we found out Cheesy had something arranged for this weekend.

Tomorrow (21st) from 8pm we will be at the amazing Beacon Hotel in Sedgley with 1st Sedgley Morris for their end of season bash.
There will also be friends from other sides making it a great night!
Join us all for some ace beers from the Sara Hughes Brewery along with fine music and dance.
Today Jockey, along with lots of other sides, are performing in Stratford for Shakespeare Morris day of dance.

A fantastic night yesterday at the Cask and Craft. Good reaction from the audiences sitting outside for a drink in the lovely evening weather.
And many thanks to Mo at Mother India for bringing us a huge stack of poppadoms, onion salad and mint raita! They went beautifully with the great beers!

A Birmingham legend has left us.
Today we're back in Birmingham with lots of friends, to celebrate the Bulls In The City trail. Should be a good one, please come along and see the fun!
Tonight it's a pub night! From 8pm we'll be at the Colmore on Colmore Row, B3 3BD, in Birmingham city centre.
It's a great pub with a fine selection of beers, tonight with added Jockey!! Come along, we'd love to see you.
We had a great night at the Griffin at Shustoke last night, as guests of our old friends Anker Morris. Beautiful weather, good company, and a couple of very nice ales. Works for us!
What a day yesterday in our fantastic home city!
We met Sabbath fans, Jeff Lynne/ELO fans and people at the Colmore Food Festival.
Fantastic reaction from the good folk of Brum! Special thanks to The Colmore and Albert's Schloss for the support and hospitality.

2pm: 1 Centenary Way (between Chamberlain Sq and Centenary Sq) opposite Albert Schloss
After that is fluid at present due to the Colmore Food Festival, and a couple of very high profile gigs!
