A freshly-lit stick of "Moss Garden" incense from Shoyeido is gently smoldering within its ash bowl holder next to its beautifully-decorated original box.
"Moss Garden" incense sticks from Shoyeido of Kyoto. I use the same ash bowl as I use for the four-hour coils, except the sticks can be held upright within the white ash itself as it smolders.
Japanese-style koshihikari rice was rinsed about four or times over until water ran clear. Drained rice was then soaked in filtered water for several hours, then steamed in an instant pot for 30 minutes. I also recommend furikake seasoning as an alternative rice topping to the stir-fried vegetables.
In a wok set to max cooktop temperature (460C), I add avocado oil until smoke begins forming, then toss in collection of diced onions and zucchini. Salt, ground black pepper and an extra dash of special salt is added along with minced garlic and tamari soy sauce before being vigorously stirred and fried together until well-seasoned, tender, and aromatic, about 5-7 minutes.

A post-burned coil of Shoyeido incense. Each coil burns for approximately four hours before self-extinguishing. This coil is held gently above a ceramic holder which itself is placed within a Japanese white ash bowl.

Bunny paw lifting lid to show fresh Tonkotsu broth as it renders in the pot for almost 2 days.
With lid off, pork backfat is shown as it is partially rendered alongside other broth ingredients to make an extremely rich and creamy broth.
As the broth simmers down to the pork and chicken bones, more water will be added to keep the broth going over time, increasingly concentrating the flavor.
