In the 90s, when I read teen mags like it was a religion, all the replies to letters were signed from “Ed” and I thought that was the name of the letter replier (actual job title). It wasn’t until I was in my first staff job at a paper when the editor, Andy, also signed off “Ed” that it clicked 🙈

Such an honour to have 20-odd people here – some all the way from the USA – for the TTW writing retreat in the Cotswolds. We are teaching aspiring writers how to get into this industry and make it work for them, and this lot are super engaged and v clever! Exciting times 🙌🎉
