Interesting article. I cancelled my Adobe Lightroom subscription and had to pay a shocking amount, as although it's monthly, their plans are a one year trap. You only rent the apps. Disgusting model.

Hi. I'm in Scotland, so I'm aware the English system is very different. Our local authority sets the rules, but sabbaticals are ok if the school agrees them. We have a great teacher on one now who is grateful and we will likely keep.

Apparently we have a dog visit coming up shortly. If it goes well, we will look to further steps. 🙂

No, but a fair body of our staff would love a therapy pet/s. We had a staff member bring in his tortoise, and our kids were thrilled to interact. I'm nervous of the rules and hurdles, but I think it could be so helpful.

I am disgusted by Elon Musk's use of Twitter/X to sow hatred in the UK and US. I'm going to search for a kinder, more creative network as a small act of choice. I look forward to connecting with people who want to reject the laziness of hate and lies. I'm going to delete my account. 🙂
