i mean, i do think he has the ability to see writing on the wall. remember all through 2020 how he was laying the groundwork to subvert the election? it could be pretext for illegitimatizing the outcome. (good luck with that)

did i imagine this?:
did old detective stories have a trope about the main character ordering milk in bars because people with heartburn & ulcers back then were told to drink milk, so it was a way of doing a character detail about how miserable these guys were?

Well this is a new one. Filling out a form at a doctorโ€™s office and the โ€œwhat language do you speak?โ€ form has an absolutely fantastic list of options. I have no idea where the website dev or whoever sourced this list but damn. Way to look out for the occasional 4,000 year old Elamite revenant.

A podcaster is saying "There's this beautiful quote from Dan Savage that I think about all the time. He said "During the darkest days of the AIDS crisis, we buried our friends in the morning, we protested in the afternoon, and we danced all night, and it as the dance that kept us in the fight, because it was the dance we were fighting for."
