As we later found out, Yaron, the franchisee from earlier, is a devoted criminal, with a long criminal history, including asking others to stab a man whom he suspected to be making out with his wife, and money laundering. Yeesh.

that is still going on to this day, with around 8,800 comments throughout the past decade. But wait - the story doesn't end there!

As time passed, the comments deviated from Kenan's story, and their writers started talking about whatever interested them at the moment, including current affairs. The "Bahadunas Thread" or "Shirshurfletset", as it is colloquially known, became a general forum for Israeli Facebook users >>

The first commenters sympathized with Kenan, but when the franchisee owning the restaurant joined the conversation, things became heated. Yaron started insulting Kenan, calling him "embittered". The waiter who served Kenan also joined, and both were called out by commenters for their style of >>

On December 29th, 2013, @idok.bsky.social went to eat in a Bahadunas restaurant, and wrote about his awful experience on Facebook. Little did he know, he was about to set in motion one of Israeli internet culture's most amazing stories. 🧵
