Unless the business using such tech has the wellbeing of their shoppers at the forefront, this gets ugly. If allowed this level of power then it makes sense they should also have responsibility for the impact of the resulting purchasing patterns on their shoppers’ wellbeing.
On AI agents: 'Traditional advertising is recognisable.
Algorithmic nudging...operates upstream. It shapes which options are surfaced, combined, or omitted before the shopper encounters them. Over time, this influence becomes routine and difficult to detect'

Are they passing that saving on by lowering their fees?
Exclusive | The Albanese government is handing access to Australians’ biometric data and ID documents to US agencies like ICE, and not telling anyone. @keanebernard.bsky.social reports.
Do you welcome members who live overseas who are UK citizens?
Going home bad?!
Did find some setting to change… doesn’t fully fix the damage. Does make me feel like thumb typing less because of all the flashing I can’t get rid of though
Note to self still hating … still haven’t switched phones
Why?
Yes I meditate. No it’s rarely quiet in there. ‘Meditation’ is like ‘sport’ a general word for many types of training. No-thought as I understand doesn’t literally mean not having any thoughts, rather is training not to get caught up in or identify with them.

Australia’s “free” and “universal” healthcare really just means:
- If you’re rich you can access preventative healthcare, medications and surgery whenever you want.
- If you’re poor we’ll patch you up in hospital after the fact and send you back home with the same underlying health issues.
All is not forgiven for crimes against usability, accessibility or common sense, but I do appreciate Apple adding Brave to default browser and search options.

Ah I see - hollow pole! Hmm so either they’re on their way somewhere (a swarm)- or they are already living there (a hive) and have come out because it’s gotta be hard to maintain comfortable temperature in a concrete pole in a heatwave (bearding). Maybe have been there a long time.
Are you worried they are scouting for a new home at your home?
Hey there, although they can seem intimidating, a swarm is usually the most placid time of a honey bee hive’s democratic reproductive cycle. They’re busily scouting new homes, dancing directions, recruiting support and getting consensus to relocate. Surprising if they take more than a few days.
Belated solstice sparkle; celebrating light grass these long days
That’s a nice walk, especially on a hot day. Try the lovely lookout and walk down to the beach from Stanwell Park exit another time.
Phew - finally quit Spotify. In the end it was easy. Still haven’t really landed on new music platform.
