As Transportation Secretary he helped get the huge infrastructure bill passed by reaching out to every member of Congress. He helped bring internet to rural areas. He made airlines comply to make planes more accessible for the disabled. And the immense improvement to roads/bridges.

As mayor of South Bend brought unemployment down from 10% to 4% during his 2 terms. His biggest achievement was his initiative to repair, rebuild 1000 homes/buildings in 1000 days (they finished early). With this, it helped slow people leaving the city with the new jobs created by this.
Obviously you don’t know how much Pete Buttigieg’s significant accomplishments as the mayor of South Bend, Indiana. And as the Secretary of Transportation. Look it up!!
