Please remove me from this conversation, @prime157.bsky.social please do the same. I am a human with feelings.
As I said, think what you want.
I told you that it's offensive in certain contexts. Think what you want.
I am a boomer. I am telling you straight up that the term is offensive. When it's used jokingly it doesn't bother me.
When a term becomes offensive it should be dropped from public discourse.
Boomer, millennial, Gen Z, etc, etc should not be used in these discussions. They are stereotypes
Neocon should have been sufficient
Criticizing a generation just leads to more division when what we need is solidarity. I have no hard feelings against any age group, just against the evil and the greedy people among us all
The day will come when your generation will be blamed for everything wrong. Remember this when that time comes
Grow up
There is nothing distastefully centered around my generation!!! Ageism is one more way to divide the people when what we need is solidarity
They are not all boomers and all boomers are not the same. I'm sick of this rhetoric
This is not always true. A lot of these politicians don't listen at all, especially if they have a safe seat
Talking out of his ass and his mouth at the same time
What's there to say about cranberry sauce other than that I always have some whole berry in the fridge?
They need to eat a chicken wing and piece of broccoli like the rest of us.
Funny, I thought we already won
I doubt it was boomers. We like being at home.
Nice costume! Let's see the dance performance!
Of cours since I thought of that song I had to listen to it which took me down a long and winding path. So much of the music from the 60s is timeless and still applies to our struggles at this time in our country
πΆIt's the time of the season for lovingπΆ
Cool eyes!
Love it
I have a great dell laptop. Use what you like. We don't all have to be the same.
I get yelled at for saying this but for many hundreds of years people went to university not to get diplomas or be employable but because immersion in the humanities was considered foundational to a good life, and school must return to its original purpose: the joy of learning.
Critics say what we all knew already. Maybe they should start asking us instead of the talking heads.
That is pretty cool
What I meant makes no sense is the statement that immigrants can't contribute to society.
