Nothing is more meaningful than #AEWDynamite

In AEW it was unacceptably bad and incited big change,
in WWE the bar is so low it's just another monday.

I understand that The Beatles [sic] are very influential and widely beloved, but for me, having a spelling mistake in the band name is disqualifying. If they won’t even have the name copy-edited, that raises serious quality-control questions about the music. I prefer a more professional approach.

AEW is what happens when a wrestling company actually likes its fans

Watching AEW is like getting universal healthcare, the abolishment of ICE, transgender liberation, and a living wage all in my veins for 2 hours and 10 minutes.

Then go after epic, Roblox, or any other company that's earnestly guilty of whats being accused here.
They're far worse.

There are so many genuinely anti consumer practices that need to be targeted.
Going after Valve when they're one of the most pro consumer studios in the world is so ridiculous.

Go after just about any other game/tech company and you'll find things that genuinely need fixing.

It’s always Fuck Ice hours on #AEWDynamite

At this point, we're so used to companies & institutions betraying decency, dignity, and human rights for the sake of profit & power, that we almost begin to expect it.

The fact that AEW let "FUCK ICE!" ring loud & true the first time, and then kept it in on a taped show, is *beautiful* and needed.

One company mutes the crowd when they say shit. One company lets the FUCK ICE chants stay on a taped show.

So there ya go.

Wrestling doesn't have to mix things outside the box and put in celebrities just to entertain us, it can be just straight up pro wrestling programming and it will do just fine with the crowd

Pro wrestling is just as popular as it was back then and AEW is showing this and bringing that entertainment

It’s not just that the “Fuck ICE” chants happened.

It’s that everyone involved - the performers, the commentators, production - seemed to make a collective decision in the moment to let it breathe and be the story of the moment.

That was cool as hell.
