Most of the mixes were done live, too, dub style. Setting up tracks and effects and buses, and playing the mix like an instrument. Exploring how to work like that.
So I remixed. Iterated on the idea. Recorded it acoustic. Did a dance remix. Added a spoken word piece. Explored options and alternatives. Got noisy with it. I think it ended up a pretty good and cohesive piece of art, all about embracing my indecision
hard to say MOST proud of, but exceptionally proud of this one. While recording the title track, I reached an infleciton point. I could go more post-rock, or more ambient. I chose the former, but thought, what of the latter?
