Ooh, nice finds. Never seen a Vashti in a chazza.

I've been using Vinted for buying and selling music for a few years - had some great bargains and all a lot easier than Discogs.
Can highly recommend! I got one for a friend and I went straight to the top
of the best birthday gift givers chart.

Sunday Mirror readers pass judgement on the latest television programmes (9th March 1969)
Such a gorgeous album of loner folk from a northern attic room.
Of all the complaints against Starmer, the most absurd is that it's "weak" to have a Cabinet that doesn't just rubber-stamp what The Leader wants on questions of war & peace.
I'd take Cabinet govt - in which ministers kick the tyres of big decisions - over the kneel-and-obey model of Farage any day

Larkin and Egerton shared many postcards of art work. This print by Peploe is part of the University of Hull art collection and was sent as a Christmas card in 1980
On International Women's Day we would like to celebrate the remarkable Judy Egerton who first met Larkin in Belfast in the 1950s and kept up a friendship for the rest of his life, via letters and visits. Judy was an eminent curator and art historian at the Tate and the National Gallery.
Morning folks! No show today as @allfm.bsky.social is celebrating International Women's Day with a tip top roster of fabulosity. James will be at the helm next week from 11am. Have a fun day!
Don't understand the reputation it has. I'm no Dylan expert but this seems a solid collection
Listened to the whole thing in one go and thought it was generally pretty great. Way better than Saved!
How I Quit Smoking will always be my absolute favourite but Nixon is a solid choice for sure.
Big fan of Lambchop in general - but could not get on with this album. I definitely prefer the older stuff.
I can completely understand this.
Bought Dylan's Self Portrait at a chazza today for 50p. I thought it was supposed to be terrible but enjoying it very much. How can you dislike an album that starts with a track like All The Tired Horses?
Watched my first ever episode of Absolutely Fabulous last night.
I'm aware I'm a little late to the party but it was really good.
SHORT TERM FOSTER PARENTS: Alarming PIF which goes for shock value to gets its point across. The worst of it is, that poor kid clearly isn't acting, he's genuinely upset.
Thank you kindly!

Screenshot from BBC article. A lady is holding up an iphone with a picture of what looks like Barbie Ken if heβd been in Silemt Hill 'He calls me sweetheart and winks at me - but he's not my boyfriend, he's Al'

Smashed Blocked fanzine by William Luther. Something Has Hit Me by me. Both 60s besotted.
Nice story alert. In 1993, Bill Luther walked into a Philadelphia record shop and bought a fanzine I made. He wrote to me and shared his. Weβve been transatlantic buddies ever since. Last night, 33 years later, we finally met up to share a load of beers and stories. Loved it.
Amazing work from the lad Tork

I remember reading it in a zine back in the day & always assumed it was a joke until many years later when YouTube appeared and there he was! I interviewed him for a fanzine from a telephone box, early 90s - I was a bit gushing, he was one of my first interviews but he was very kind in response.
Well, that explains the erratic delivery times.
Little known Ed Barton fact - he played guitar with Tears For Fears on Wogan.

Here she is in 2026! This neatly bobbed, elegantly coutured lady in her 60s, steps forward in the manner of someone who might just as easily address an international conference held to improve the efficacy of PPE rollouts in future pandemics. And then she sings: βItβs a fine day/People open windowsβ
