Granted, Yanfei isn't super particular about her tea. She has her preferred tea shops, but its not as if she can expect them to always be open when she's awake. Especially in the middle of the night.
It's always a sad day when that happens. Tea is a regular part of any Liyue citizen's diet.

(I like Yanfei a lot. She's my main in Genshin, and I always figured the idea of her traveling to learn more about the laws of various lands seemed like a no brainer. She also seems pretty splashable into medieval and dnd settings, so there's that too.)

It's certainly been a change of pace. Yanfei instinctively moves ever so slightly with each touch on her back. Unintentionally arching her back.
She seriously has been in need of a break from work. She's just too proud to admit it.
Much better. Yanfei removes her hand and allows this affection to continue. It sure was nice to just spend time relaxing for once.
It's too early to be getting up. She grumbles a bit and brings a hand to cover her eyes from the world.
"M-morning...five more minutes," she'd whine. She'd especially like five more minutes with that hand petting her too.
