So that's all. Just wanted to introduce myself here as I'm considering making this my primary platform to share about the Games.
Let me know if this is something you want to see more of here ๐ซ
The Games will be an ever growing list of "Quests" that are designed and played by a growing community of Regenerators who are actively living in new realities.
The Games will first center around healing the wounds of old Games while focusing on getting players as healthy and capable as possible.
Currently I'm inspired around designing Regenerative economic systems, villages, bioregions and other approaches to redesign civilization.
I'm also inspired by how we might make this transition as fun, engaging, joyful and fulfilling as possible and that's where the "ReGen Civics Games" come in.
This Game is about actively living, loving, and playing in new civilizations.
Civilizations that are actually designed for meeting our needs to live and thrive together.
This is the Infinite Game.
Co-creating a love based Regenerative Civilization that lives in harmony with life.
My name is Rye I write about "Infinite Games".
This "Game" isn't about complaining about broken systems or giving them any of our attention (our most important resource).
Where's this civilization leading us anyway?
What's AI, robotics, etc all about?
Replacing the world of the living with a world of machines... Replacing beings with actual intelligence with artificial ones and calling this progress?
Anyway, I could keep going but will end it here.
In summary we can't produce energy from eating meat without creating a great deal of toxicity in the body.
So it can't possibly be considered a healthy diet even if it comes with short term benefits.
Eat fruits instead ๐ฅญ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐

There's a reason that early meat eating centered around infrequent celebrations or religious rituals of sacrificial offerings.
People got high & horny from eating it because it was something that wasn't normally consumed (these effects wane with constant use, like any drug).
This high feeling is often touted as being one of the signs that meat is good for us.
I've heard vegans make this claim when going back to meat.
About how high and food they felt right after eating.
But this is like saying cocaine is good for us because of how good we feel when we ingest it.
For a human, eating the flesh of another animal is a drug (carrying many of the same stimulating effects of good drugs).
Which is why people feel so "good" (aka high) after eating (especially if they've been without it for any period of time - like any other drug).
Unfortunately, these effects can take time to notice, especially when they seem to be outweighed by the weight loss and benefits from proper digestion.
This prolongs the period where people think the necrovore diet is working for them.
Carnivores eat bones and cartilage and actually have the stomach environment acidic enough to digest bones, humans do not) this is critical for their diets.
Balancing these acids in the body often results in pulling from our alkaline deposits (calcium in bones and teeth, etc) to neutralize the acids further weakening our system (which is why actual carnivores don't just eat lean meat!
Both processes of converting fat and proteins place an additional burden on the organs, especially the kidneys that need to eliminate the excess phosphoric, uric, sulphuric and other acids and by-products of both fat and protein conversion.
Note: This "net loss" is also why protein heavy diets result in short term weight loss (as the body needs to convert body fat to help create energy to deal with the excess of proteins).
During this conversion the body splits off the nitrogenous matter from the protein molecules and uses the remaining carbon contents as fuel.
This process not only involves a net loss of energy, but also places a strain on the liver, kidneys and other organs to eliminate the nitrogenous wastes.
This conversion takes energy (thus making protein and fat extremely inefficient fuel sources) and creates toxic by-products in the process: for example phosphoric, uric, & sulphuric acids being just 3 of the toxic by-products of converting animal flesh to human energy.
However, we know that our bodies ONLY run on sugar (e.g. Glucose and like molecules).
Sugar found in fruits need no conversion to be used for energy!
Protein/fat is used as fuel only when there is either an excess of proteins/fat or a lack of sugars.
Both simplify the diet and cutting out toxic foods would have profound health benefits (which necrovores are seeing and constantly shouting about!).
So then to stop eating the bread with the meat- "going full carnivore" as the kids say-would be an improvement as we'd no longer be getting the indigestion issues.
Easier to digest one food type at a time.
Also necrovores cut out other insane toxins found in our processed food systems.
Improperly combining foods - like eating starch with protein (e.g. meat with bread) creates indigestion, inflammation and other problems.
Starches need an alkaline stomach to digest while proteins need an acidic one - combining these will ALWAYS result in indigestion (whether or not we notice).
Let's say someone's eating the SAD (Standard American Diet - even if vegan!) they're eating processed foods, poor food combinations, and more and then changes to a necrovore diet of only meat.
Then that's an upgrade on the system!
Humans cosplaying as carnivores who only eat meat means avoiding critical nutrients found in blood, bones, tendons, organs, etc (which hold all the necessary alkaline minerals to offset the acids in flesh).
"But what about all those people who get better after going carnivore"?
So you wanna be a Carnivore:
Carnivores eat blood, tendons, hide, bones, organs, etc right off a living or recently dead animal that they and their buddies just hunted using nothing but their own bodies!
Real carnivores Hunt with their teeth and claws eating their prey alive and raw, like lions.
Long term it's easy to see the degradation, rapid aging, hair loss, organ failure, fatigue, and other symptoms long term necrovores suffer.
So, if you want to cosplay as a carnivore then make sure you're eating blood, bone, cartilage, organs and hide in a raw state like actual carnivores do!
