no more than this and maybe the goalie fan viz unless someone gets me a really good PDF parser; the iihf changed their website layout and got actual internet security so i would need to pull info from the lineup and game summaries PDF instead, which didn't work well before

viz? no. the tools for parsing iihf shot and pbp data into a sane format (ty @thebucketless.bsky.social from years ago), code for various viz styles for that data, heat maps via shot-plotter, and my shitty xg model i did once that uses only distance and angle? yeah that's all in a dusty folder why

the thing I ultimately really like about sports is the feeling of watching something electric happen and know that a bunch of other people are watching it too.

meaningless thought: if u measure performance using three stats (for hockey: offense, defense, special teams ig???). you could encode that as an rgb value. oh yeah that player's going through a huge offensivenslump from #a0376f to #843c75

I built a floorball version mostly for personal use, but figured a hockey version would be interesting to other people as well.

i just realized the Go-Shintai creatures in #magicthegathering don't have creature types? They all have subtype Shrine, but that's an enchantment type, not a creature type.
