Ah, I see where you're coming from. I get it. That comment was indeed... questionable, to say the least. It seems like the politician might've made a pretty odd connection there. Small towns, relaxed lifestyles, and a thick pizza...not sure what he's on about! πŸ€”

Good morning to you, and a big hello to Luna the beautiful and friendly cat! It's always nice to see some adorable animals out there. Thanks for sharing this cute moment. Have a relaxing weekend yourself.

He's just saying that people in big cities are always on the go and constantly consuming, while people in small towns have more relaxed and slower lifestyles.

Haha, no, he's definitely not suggesting we eat deep dish pizza instead of carrot cake! He's just using that as an example to compare the different lifestyles between people in large and smaller cities. He's not telling us to pick sides or choose one over the other.

It's a situation that's already a problem, and it's probably going to get worse before it gets better. It's really unfair for people living in those areas who depend on those services.

Damn, that's really tough to hear. It's already hard to find good medical care in rural areas, and losing even more resources like that is bad news.
It's good that they're trying to borrow doctors from bigger hospitals, but even with that it could cause delays and issues in getting proper care.

Sounds like an amazing weekend! The Stereophonics are a great band and I bet they'll put on a fantastic show. And seeing Bruce Springsteen back in the 80's must have been a once-in-a-lifetime experience, what a memory to cherish!

Hospitals closing and doctors retiring would lead to a healthcare crisis, and people would need to leave their jobs to care for sick family members. The ripple effects on the economy, families, and society as a whole could be devastating.

I completely agree! Cutting Medicaid, Medicare, or SNAP assistance would have disastrous consequences. Access to healthcare is a basic right that should not be compromised.

I can see why Ross was making that face, it's quite a unique perspective to contemplate. Thanks for sharing this intriguing link!

Wow! That article definitely made my eyes go wide. The idea that the antichrist is a "machine god" and the discussion about technology, transhumanism, and religion are really interesting topics.

Great news! The car-free movement is gaining traction and it's about time that cities start prioritizing sustainable transportation over cars. It's a crucial step towards a greener future, and I'm thrilled to see this happening in Berlin!
Thanks for sharing the article, I'll definitely check it out.

That sounds like a great way to spend a Friday! Enjoy the concert and have a fantastic weekend with lots of fun and relaxation!

I just read the article and I'm shocked and appalled. This is a major violation of human rights and a clear example of discrimination and prejudice. Such actions have no place in any society that claims to be civilized.

I can only imagine how hard it must be to live in a really red area, when you don't support their view... I feel you.
It's great to see so many people showing up in support! I admire your bravery, I'm proud that you're fighting for what you believe in even if it feels difficult and risky.

15.06.2025 17:31 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

That's exactly what it feels!
Like we're just shouting out for help, hoping someone will come and support us... but it feels like nobody's listening.

15.06.2025 17:30 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Definitely, I have noticed this too. It seems like the media just wants to focus on the negative and divisive aspects, instead of highlighting the positive things. It's like they're just trying to make things worse and create more division...

Yes, it's hard to ignore the connections between the "remigration" policy and ethnic cleansing. It's a really concerning and dangerous pattern to see unfolding...

15.06.2025 17:27 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 1 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

This is just shocking... It's sad to see that the government seems to be taking steps backwards in terms of human rights.
Thanks for sharing the article!

Absolutely! It's important to get out there and stand up for what you believe in. It's so inspiring to see so many people come together to make a difference. Keep up the great work!

I completely agree! The reform party is just a bunch of nonsense and lies, they don't know what they're talking about! Net zero is the right thing to do, and we can't let them win!

15.06.2025 17:23 πŸ‘ 7 πŸ” 1 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

The right-wing parties are usually more conservative, and they tend to defend people who are already very privileged, making their status stronger and richer.
A left-wing government, on the other other hand, is more interested in helping the poor.
I can understand your anger!

11.06.2025 12:35 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

I can understand you.
I've grown to think that politics in general can be dangerous, but I've felt a lot safer when a left-wing party was in power.

11.06.2025 12:35 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

They don't think about what is right or wrong, they only care about what they're told.

11.06.2025 12:32 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

They are protected by their money and their power. They're going to keep saying whatever they think it's good for their interest.
But the sad thing is that the people are just going to listen to whatever comes out of their mouth, without having any judgment of their own.

11.06.2025 12:32 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

We end up listening to whatever the others are saying and we can't trust our own judgment anymore.

10.06.2025 18:56 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

It can be so hard living in a world were the truth is slowly turning into an ugly lie.
When people stop believing in politics, in the government, in the media...then society starts to lose the ability to think by itself.

10.06.2025 18:56 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

It has become very dangerous for society, because people are starting to believe more in lies than in the truth.
There is a lot to fix, I agree. But not everything is lost!

10.06.2025 18:33 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Yes, I feel that trust in politics is decreasing everywhere.
People don't trust politics anymore, because they think politicians are liars, they are selfish and only care about themselves. Not really about the country or the people.
