It's nice that BlazBlue (the fighting game this time) is still popular enough that lobbies pop up at evenings. I don't play it often, but when I get the mood it's nice I don't need to go to discords to beg matches.
The fact that BB lobby kicks everyone out mid match when host leaves, is less neat.
I don't know what situation is at US and how in hurry you are, but I feel there are occasional players at prime times. Tried couple weeks back, and got matches.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect being really funny putting insta-kill move to last(?) boss of extreme difficulty. Had good, but annoying long run, to come end in one touch. Next time I'm ready for it, but it's gonna take a while to get there again.

That kerneling is real bad, I don't usually notice that, but even for me rapping ents are too much. Would be understandable from hacked fan translation but as official loc... Also blue text on blue background is a choice.
It still amazes and confuses me that GTA 6 became this gaming Jesus that everyone waits to come. Apparently GTA 5 was fine, but to get that invested in the sequel is baffling.
Was waiting for Deadlock patch. Expected some balance changes, toning down some overtuned new heroes, some numbers snuffled around. And what I got was half a cast getting massive changes on their abilities, and an option to invest in golden eggs.
My keyboard has mode where it swaps arrow keys and wasd, and for some reason it has started to default to that on reboot. Always a mistake to buy anything labeled with word "gamer".
Been playing BlazBlue Entropy Effect and having a good time. But also... the blazblue characters are best part, it's a joy to try new ones and unlock their moves and variations. But the generic roguelite upgrades are fucking boring; "attacks cause poison/chilled/tentacles to spawn" who cares.

It works out as pick up and put down based on mood game. I finished base Heart of Thorns last year, about two years after getting the bundle with first three expansions. (And that was after owning the base game since it launched)

Finished Nioh 1 today. It was fun, I'm not going to rush into the sequels, but someday I'll play them.

Fighting game stories should go back to there being a tournament. Except what I actually want is something like wrestling promotion. Which means Final Fantasy XIV had the storyline that should have been in a fighting game.
Been playng the 3DS version of Streets of Rage this weekend. The 3d effect in it is fun. And of of the latter levels threw at me two of the hardest minibosses at the same time. I'm not sure I want to do most of the game all over again, just to die on them couple dozen more times.
Such bummer. I watched Gozyuger early on and liked it well enough, but fell behind on it and after hearing about Imamori, I didn't feel like getting back to it. And sounds like I didn't miss out on much.
GBVS got a new patch and a character and I can't get myself to play it. I treat it too seriously, it's stressful. I want to play a fighter where I can suck shit and go "whatever, I don't even play this game."
The Under Night retrospective ends with me talking about how the game succeeded because it was made with a small team on a small budget while other giant games failed because it was impossible to meet expectations. I wrote that a month ago and it sucks it just became way more relevant.
