made a really big choice. cut off one of my parents bc it was hurting so much to talk to them and now its like. i dont have any parents now. it is definitely not helping the "i want my mom" feelings ive been having the past few weeks

anyway all that is to say that i'm rediscovering what i missed out on. i was like a girl incel as a teen bc i didn't feel like any of my girl friends, but wasn't allowed to be a boy either. now i can be both and only i get to decide that

what i hated was the way i was treated. it wasn't my fault, it had nothing to do with being a girl. it was all about people's perception of gender roles and how they wanted me to be. i wasn't even allowed to cut my hair til i was 18, it was down past my butt

i realized that being a girl is not what i hated growing up! i liked plenty of "girly" things, but i was very tomboyish and my family would make such mean comments if i ever so much as picked up anything pink. "oh finally ur being a girl!" like oh my god?? shut up??

oh update! i'm uhm! a girl a little bit!! gender is weird for me but i have been reflecting .... will talk a teeny bit abt it in 🧵 but uhm yeah!! this dog is bigender!
