Trump is a huge step down fromPresident Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Camacho.
Not to support israel in any way, but this isn't remotely true. Disease kills millions of children in Africa each year. Malaria kills around 500,000 a year.
I'm sure it was on the report and charges fired along with resisting arrest.
These things were really common just 30 years ago. This is a species that has survived 450 million years and we're practically wiping them out. Humanity is a mass extinction event.
Is this anything other than state funding terrorism....

Colbert, Stewart, and now Josh Johnson are a different breed so Leno's old standards don't apply. Also, they exist in response to our current political climate as well as a breakdown of the free press...corporate/billionaire owners, with cartoonists and editorials in the past (or on stage).
The bigger problem right now is the failure of Congress to put any sort of restraint on Trump/Executive. Right now, Republicans in Congress aren't doing their job, and as a result, the president has zero accountability. The infection is much deeper than simply Trump or his administration.
For those complaining about the slide.... wasn't the alternative to a slde to simply plow the 1st baseman into the ground?

CARTOON OF THE DAY
(From @garthtoons.bsky.social ) 🇺🇸 😕
"History will remember this day— when an American President and Vice President abandoned all we stand for."
I have the same feelings watching this as an American while they tear down all of our institutions and infrastructure along with any good will we had across the globe. Europe needs to understand in no uncertain terms that they are on their own.
We went with my son to the NIH a bunch of times. It truly was a special place, both in terms of care, but also from a science standpoint. So many medical researchers in one place working on solving problems and curing diseases.
It has in the past, but their science and technology has improved greatly. I don't think that still holds.
It's the type of damage you don't recover from. What elite researchers and even grad students are going to want to set up shop in the US given this climate? After getting a PHD+, are you going to spend 5-10 years getting a research lab established knowing that it could get the axe for no reason.
Well, they are planing on having the UFC train FBI agents, so it is coming. Frankly, President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Camacho would be a big step up.
If there was any question at all about racism being a part of Trumps immigration policies, I think his latest "save the white South Africans" order should clear it all up.

We were going to shoot it down, but DOGE shut down that department and frankly at this point I welcome the asteroid reboot.
I've added you as well on my feed. Hope all is going well.
There's a lot of damage when you start defunding or threatening to defund biomedical research. A research lab takes a decade to get established to the point where significant discoveries are being made. So good luck attracting the best graduate students and researchers to set up shop in the US.
