As she glances to the side and her brow furrows, silhouettes of her in argument with an unknown figure appear behind. Estranged family? Ex partner? Who can say. Panel 2 is the mechanitch in largely the same pose, but has suddenly glanced the other direction. The wizard also turns in that direction, with her eye barely visible behind the sunglasses. She says "hmm?". Panel 3 is a wide shot of the summoning circle the wizard made, with her gun-staff floating above it perfectly vertically, crystal end down. The wizard thumbs over her shoulder, saying "oh, right. paused the spell. looked like you needed quiet." Two insets of just her hand (with self-harm scars on the exposed arm) show a before-and-after of snapping her finger. This process produces sparkles. Panel 4 is a closeup of the crystal touching tip-down in the dust of the summoning circle, with flaring energy buzzing off it. It sounds "FZZZTTT--", and an arc weld-like spark appears at its tip. Panel 5 is the same perspective, with the gun-staff crystal having moved slightly. It is leaving a trail of slightly jagged material - the spell "azurmes fax machina", the magical version of the fax machine, has turned out to be a fax 3D printer! Unforutnately, it is producing a LOT of noise - RRR RRRRR RRRRRR RRRRR RRRR RRRRRR - which has brought back the mechanitch's exhaustion a millionfold. A silly little scribble version of her stares, a little braindead, in the bottom right corner of the page.

Sorry for the late "wizard car" update... the purpose of the titular wizard's spell is revealed! (20/?)
