Same. I go back to it every few years.

Edit: removing the adoration of the deer who just pooped in the middle of my yard.
Six deer, a smattering of bats, countless fireflies, and the sound of a couple of dudes with loud engines. I love twilight in my town.
Still puck rock, I whisper, while listening to the old music and making violet jelly.
Ha ha ha ha
Confirming: this song is not about a sweater? (Ok we’re at war now with a crazy person at the helm. I’m good.)
Yessir. 100 block. We host free live music Thursdays 4:30 - 6:30. (Except next week, which we skipped since Juneteenth should have focus.) But come by on the 26th!
💕 you’re invited 💕

Evil intentions are motivating?
And I hope everyone is inspired to look at the stars!
So much lol. Ha ha ha ha ha.
Oh jesus it didn’t occur to me that y’all would have 30 years of Midwestern pope jokes.
Ooh! My turn.
I like the kind of people who make their community a better place.
So pretty!
This is the first year we’ve gotten the spring box.
Celeriac, carrot and fennel soup. I didn’t know celeriac was a thing until ANC Veggie Box. There is so much food knowledge to be had that really wasn’t part of my 70s cellophane wrapped childhood
Dang, sorry to hear it.
Mr Leslie your city needs you!
Tonight’s meal was absolutely delicious and I made every bit from my Allen Nhood Center CSA. That place is a Lansing Treasure°.
Today I made a Good Enough for Tuesday meal. A recipe that, given a weekend, would have rocked. Today, everyone ate everything, it was good. But not Instagram good. (This is how Midwestern Cuisine was born.)
Long live CADL
Tonight I made a thoroughly mediocre dinner. Let it be known.
And it turns out they’re not jokes which is also the problem.

I am not a frequent flyer when it comes to health care. But took my beloved uncle to the ER today and, whoa.
Seriously! Well I don’t know if it’s cursed retail or some sort of time capsule of capitalism. Let please turn this into a niche theater and bring Rocky Horror back to Frandor.
One of our favorite local small businesses.
