It depends a bit on where in the city they need to get to. Back Bay, Seaport, and govt center are all easy to get to from any of the south shore commuter rail, but if they need to get to Cambridge or the north part of the city you're better off looking north shore

If you can describe what a piece of code should do, Claude should be able to translate that to a set of tests for that section of code plus it should pick up on common bugs.
If there's some fundemental design flaw that exposes data where it shouldn't, I wouldn't bet on an LLM to determine that.

The tools also help bad software designers ship bad code more quickly. What a lot of companies are dealing with now is that teams are deploying half baked, poorly coded "features" at a fast pace that are actively making their product worse. Amazon and Microsoft in particular are suffering from this

So that you could ensure that if you gave them to someone else to work on the code there would be clear expectations. The same goes for writing LLM prompts.
Putting tools like Claude in the hands of a good software engineer and they'll be more productive.

The article contains some good points, but presents them in a very stupid way. The hardest part of writing software has always been the design aspects. The stuff that LLM coding tools are good at are the low level implementation.
To develop good software before LLMs you needed clear requirements

I really do wonder if there's a coherent alternative theory, because admitting he existed but was just a charismatic mortal seems like a much easier argument to make.

People get incredibly stupid when it comes to large numbers. $6.9 million sounds like a lot, except it's 1/10th of a JSF

I just saved myself a couple hours of fucking around with go template list manipulation by letting Claude do it, which freed me up to work on tuning hpa settings and hopefully save some money.

It does appear that the targets for a lot of these attacks on NATO countries seem to be based on information that only an ally would know/care about. And they also seem like they're trying to get intercepted.

Bluesky was just a vehicle for ATproto development initially. Before Elon got involved the plan was to migrate Twitter to ATproto once it matured. That was never going to happen once the deal went through and here we are
