I live near several Gristedes supermarkets. They are already failing because they haven’t kept up with their competition. I’m surprised these stores didn’t close a year ago when better alternatives (that are now jam-packed) moved into the neighborhood.

The “good guy with a gun” was a bad shot.

This was the plan the entire time and it was always going to be targeted towards Democratic run cities. It’s not about law and order. It’s about controlling by force the areas where Trump does not control by ideology.

Hi #kidlitchat! I’ve been busy with a couple of translation (Portuguese to English) projects, a picture book and a middle grade novel. Working ever so slowly on my own upper middle grade novel and pondering a picture book bio.

Hopefully it will only be our tax dollars wasted because Poland votes the fascist down.

I appreciated the last four years, knowing that our government wasn’t actively trying to cull us.

Unfortunately that decision to leave (a state or a country) is easier to make and carry out for someone who’s just starting out in adult life.

Flying private is even more dangerous as we saw with that plane that crashed in San Diego last week due in part to a flawed weather forecast and runway lights not working in fog.

What can they do in the US that they can’t do in Canada to oppose the regime?

At least for now their work will still be available and we’ll have access to it within the US. And if that acccess is cut off, it only proves Shore, Snyder, and Stanley made the right decision to go where they could continue to pursue their projects in safety.

My outlines are never that detailed. Once I wrote a detailed outline and it felt as if I’d already written the book. #kidlitchat
