Absolutely stunning #Wolseley #Hornet on the Wolseley Hornet Special Club Stand at the #NEC #classicmotorshow
The design, attention to detail and craftsmanship of the owner to achieve this is inspiring.
#bestinshow contender in my opinion.

I spy a Wolseley 1500 boot badge!
Thatβs a Wolseley Fourteen, a rarity in its day, being made for less than a year from the end of 1934 until mid 1935 when it was replaced by the βWolseley New Fourteenβ. The Wolseley Fourteen had a 6-cylinder 14.06hp engine of 1,604cc and cost Β£240 when new.
In a 14hp Wolseley I believe.
A few photos I took of Ozzyβs hometown goodbye today. Shot for the amazing folk at OPUS who helped organise the whole event. Truly the best of Brum π
Beautiful building and opened in October 1911 as βDaimler Houseβ the Birmingham showroom for Daimler Cars.
The lines are stunning.
Happened to be passing the Pre-1940 #Triumph & Marque Rally near Leamington this morning, so dropped in - some beautiful #weirdcarbs attending #Gloria #Stag #TR6 #Vitesse #Standard hope you all had a great day.
Yes, itβs in my possession. I assume it must be a founder members badge as it is numbered β7β.
It is a great badge, but I know very little about the club other than an entry on the BNA website re the βEvening Dispatchβ 8th December 1932 that at a meeting it had been decided to form the club headquartered in Birmingham.
I look forward to the publication of your book!!
Nickel and green enamelled badge with βMidland Countiesβ wording in an arch of green enamel above deco green tipped white wings below which is an embossed panel depicting a late 1920βs/early 1930βs car climbing a hill at speed in a landscape of hills and clouds. Below is the wording βLadies Motor Clubβ on a green enamel background. The badge has a tang with two holes for badge bar mounting. The badge is 9cm wide and 7.5cm tall and has had some paint repairs to damaged enamel over its c.92 year life.
In December 1932, the βMidland Counties, Ladies Motor Clubβ was formed. The Birmingham UK based club had their stylish deco club badge produced by the βBirmingham Medal Co., Fredrick Street, Birmingham.
Any information about the club, its members and activities is appreciated. #Automobilia
Donβt ignore Red warnings. If you are in the zone get in somewhere and encourage others to do the same. Stay away from roads, trains, rivers, flood water and coast lines if you can. Have torches and charged lights and charged phone and powerbank to hand
A shout out to Local Authority Emergency Planning Teams in Wales and the West Country tonight. Stay safe.
Happy #Spaniel on Instow beach #Devon this morning.
My first post here and Iβll be posting mainly about my interests and less about work.
Oh, and if I canβt say anything nice, I wonβt say anything at all.
