Right!? And it totally conflates self-reported outcomes with the use of qualitative methods. That strikes me as a lack of having thoughtfully read the high-quality qualitative and quantitative work on stigma that the journal has published in the past few years. I think I will!

Have people seen this new letter to the editor in Obesity? In the response, the Editor-in-Chief claims that studies with self-reported outcomes (e.g., lived experiences of weight stigma) are "strictly speaking, not science" ... this is completely unacceptable
