I cannot say enough about how amazing @reallymckay.bsky.social is as a writer. A deity among us. I feel so blessed to exist is the same timeline and get to read her masterpieces. I have no idea why it took me so long to find such treasures, but dear lord, I’m so thankful that I finally found them.
I’ve read very close to 100 books so far this year, and in all those stories, there have only been a handful of books that COMPLETELY commanded my time, day and night. So far, Milena McKay has an unbeatable streak of keeping me awake when I know I should be asleep.
I should absolutely be asleep right now, especially knowing that my toddler will most likely wake me up at an ungodly hour. But I cannot, for the life of me, convince myself to retire my kindle for the night. Not when I’m halfway through The Delicate Things We Make by @reallymckay.bsky.social

If you get a tonne of warnings for stuff, I just learned (thanks to @skyekilaen.bsky.social) that you can adjust your preferences in your Settings. 👍 Just toggle the Enable Adult Content at the top and it gives you three options (Hide, Warn, or Show.)
