👆This was such a poor writing choice that ruined any chance I’d like the prequels. George Lucas basically ignoring his own canon rather than faking Padme’s death or outright just sending her to Alderaan. She lost all agency as a character which still pisses me off.

When I said the lightning woke me the heck up this morning, THIS was the strike I saw, right as I was turning onto 2nd from Bates. From my perspective, it looked like that strike hit the Mon! (I’m sure it didn’t, but considering my lot is next to the Mon, I was a bit 😬)
(And I had just turned onto 2nd Ave from Bates St so I was RIGHT there)
It’ll have to be another Friday for me but it sounds fun!
I saw that in real-time and it was quite the jump scare!
