The song sums up the plot of Delicious in Dungeon so well, it's definitely hard to beat.

Looking forward to a working with Grace and trying to help get this very cool and timely (*wink*) #WriteHive manuscript past the first hurdles on the way to publication!

Dune, Where's My Thopter?
Who better to never say goodbye than a dead man awoken?
I highly recommend people read @chuckwendig.bsky.social's response to that open letter to SFWA about AI that's making the rounds. Chuck hits it out of the ballpark with this essay.
I blame Pig-Paul VI.
Had a lot of fun writing this piece. Enjoy!
1) Aliette is correct, and this shit is dramatic in its scope.
2) Amazon tried to sell me a squeegee when I was searching for a Raclette machine yesterday, and that alone should be reason enough to stop trusting any AI translation right now.
Thread: As a translator myself, I echo everything Aliette says. I have also noticed longterm customers suddenly no longer calling, because somewhere there is a machine translation system that is cheaper, even if its output is worse.
The reading period for the #WriteHive Mentorship program is nearly over! So many great submissions again this year. Y'all don't make it easy to choose, do you?

You still have a few more days: get polishing over the weekend!
I see we've reached the "The president is walking around on the roof while ranting about crazy bullshit and everyone will pretend this is totally normal" phase of the fall of America.
Never forget and never forgive the people who voted for this demented, tyrannical, confused, cruel, evil, idiot.
There are so many of these. Those little packets of Hot Pizz that come with your pizza are a favourite.

Paris urban biking DOUBLED in just one year.
βCycling in Paris has transcended mere trendiness; itβs become a fundamental aspect of the cityβs identity. Despite challenges like inclement weather, cyclists continue to flock to the streets, setting new records and reshaping the urban landscape.β
Gorgeous looking SFF magazine project here - look at all that (original, human-made) art!
That being said, CDG tomorrow morning for a trip away promises to not be quite so chill.
Nice and chill here in the Yvelines. Paris is great to look at from a distance.
So happy to see this in paperback!
An awesome piece of writing, with more science things-I-shoulda-known than you can shake a space elevator at.
This was a super fun work to get to have an early look at, and even contribute to ever so slightly on the Space Law front!
Maybe it's just what comes across my particular desk, but seems like it should be a bigger deal that both the EU and the US have approved a kind of HIV vaccine--a shot that provides 99% protection for 6 months--and it's going to be produced royalty-free in 120 poor nations w/ high HIV rates.
